It’s been a while since I’ve done a Tag post. I thought this one would be fun to do and informative for all of you! 1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight? My hair is naturally very curly, I have a tough time keeping it straight in humid or during the summer, the front always curls on me! 2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon? I don’t dye my hair, and I’m guilty of not getting my hair cut when you’re supposed to, I try to stretch it the best I can lol the life of a poor college student. 3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it? Hair? If I’m in a rush I either throw it up as a side bun or straighten it out. If I have some time, I’ll experiment with something new. Clothes related I…
We had an eventful weekend and this post will have quite a few photos. My boyfriend and I went to Woodstown, New Jersey near his home for their annual parade and spent some time with his friends. I’m such a city girl I was flabbergasted at how many different types of tractors there are haha. I’ve never seen a tractor in a parade before. Then we headed back to Philadelphia for fireworks at night. Philadelphia has fireworks at almost every part of the city but I decided to do the same as I did the previous year and join my friend’s family for the fireworks display at the Philadelphia Art Museum. My friend Nicole and her father The following day was my sister’s birthday and we had a little get together for that. My sister refused to have a birthday party but regardless it was still nice. …
I came across this brand which I actually featured in a recent post [here] and the day I was writing up that post Firmoo.com actually contacted be about doing giveaways which I thought was just absolutely perfect. I know how difficult it is to even think about paying for glasses especially when you’re glasses are as expensive as mine come out to be. (Hundreds of dollars) This is money I could be saving and Firmoo is a prime example of somewhere you can save those big bucks. Not only do they have regular glasses they have transitions, prescription sunglasses, computer glasses even just fashion glasses. Firmoo has affordable glasses that are 80%-90% less than local stores and they don’t lack on style either. The Classic series has both sunglasses and regular glasses you can choose from a variety of styles and the glasses start at just $8. For anyone who doesn’t…
For anyone who doesn’t know Julep maven is a subscription box for Julep nail polish costing $19.99 per box. (June Nantucket It Girl Box) So here’s how the process went down: I went to the site and finally found a box worth starting for so I put it in my cart. Upon ordering I had some issues with the site keeping my item in the shopping cart. Then I ordered all was well. I ordered an additional item, quick dry drops for the $4.99 price. I received my tracking information. The shipping was rather slow compared to what I’m use to but I didn’t wait weeks to get the product either so I don’t think I can complain much about that. It is shipping across the country. When I received my box there was only one item in the box, with one order and the rest of my order was…
Choosing the perfect sunglasses can be a feat and lets face it most of us are guilty of choosing sunglasses that exaggerate our face shape rather than compliment it. I’ve complied some do’s and don’t to finding the perfect sunglasses for you. I just want to say Happy Birthday to my sister Mikayla. For her birthday I got her some new summer clothes, shoes, a purse and some sunglasses that she loves. She’s our little fashion diva. I totally wish I was rich and could give her all the clothes she loves! But I thought it would be cute to post some pictures from her Birthday! Check her out below: I believe the shirt she has on is from Oshkosh. What is your favorite place to shop for kids clothes? P.S. this is my 100th post on Crashbeauty.com!
So okay it’s more like eye of the day since I really only did the eye makeup to walk around the house in.I’ve done this look a few times before, normally there is more black and a thinner line of gold but I generally just wing it.The base of my eye is a skin tone color and a light brown in the crease just for depth. This was from a custom Coastal Scents palette I created. The three main items I used were: Maybelline eye studio cream liner in blackest blackGlamour Doll Eyes eye shadow pigment in Trophy Wife (last time I used this was in my Sailor-esk FOTD linkage ) Almay’s get up and grow mascara I was having a bit of trouble getting good photos with my glasses on but alas I tried! I think this would be a nice accompany to a little black dress. It’s simple but…
Photo and Art by The Nail Network First off I just want to say have you seen the amazing nail artwork by The Nail Network? There is Ariel nail art and OH MY GOODNESS I wish these were pre-made and readily available because I would so rock these lol. I love Disney and the Disney Princesses so of course when I hear Sephora was coming out with another set I was ecstatic. For a full list of the set details check out Beautezine’s fantastic site. The collection will be released online this month (June) but won’t be in actual Sephora stores until August. Stay tuned, I really hope I get my hands on something from this collection! I know if I can’t afford it in budget I’m at least buying that mirror. The palette would be my desired item and the perfume bottle is gorgeous! I love Ariel, lets be honest…
For my birthday I got the Lorac Pro Palette. Now there are quite a number of neutral eyeshadow palettes out there now and the one issue I always have with inspecting them is that they have too many shimmery, glittery etc. Type shadows. I wanted to see matte every day eye shadows and the Lorac Pro Palette is actually the perfect blend of both. I feel like many of the colors can be used with cooler or warmer shades to complete a look. This is definitely one palette that I could take on a trip and not need any other shades at all. Perfect transition shades, covers night time looks as well as day. It has a matte black which I always find important to top liner. Natural Look with Neutral Palette The consistency of the shadows is great but the texture is very strange to me as I am…
Thursday night I went to my second Philly FABB event which was hosted at Philadelphia’s very own Deneen Marcel Lashes on 4th& South St. The theme of the party was a “White Party” and my first white party ever! I mean as far back as I can remember anyway haha. Every person in attendance looked absolutely ravishing! They served Wine and Champagne and had absolutely delicious… no really DELICIOUS treats and snacks cutesy of the lovely It’s a cupcake. (I’m addicted!) Most importantly for me they had cucumber water! It was so outrageously hot Thursday I almost fainted. Cucumber water to the rescue! Some other guests in attendance were Andre from Andre Richard Salon, and Jennifer of Simply Adeline’s beautiful clay jewelry. I’m very excited to say that the winner of the full set of lashes was the very first blogger from Philadelphia that I’ve met, the beautiful and…
