So okay it’s more like eye of the day since I really only did the eye makeup to walk around the house in.
I’ve done this look a few times before, normally there is more black and a thinner line of gold but I generally just wing it.
The base of my eye is a skin tone color and a light brown in the crease just for depth. This was from a custom Coastal Scents palette I created. The three main items I used were:
- Maybelline eye studio cream liner in blackest black
- Glamour Doll Eyes eye shadow pigment in Trophy Wife (last time I used this was in my Sailor-esk FOTD linkage )
- Almay’s get up and grow mascara
I was having a bit of trouble getting good photos with my glasses on but alas I tried!
I think this would be a nice accompany to a little black dress. It’s simple but flashy at the same time.
Tomorrow I think I’ll be trying an Ombre effect with my eyeliner for the beach!
