So here is a picture of my Eshakti dress: Color Block Dress with my less than spectacular pose and lollipop in my mouth haha. We were supposed to get a shot of me on the beach and forgot. Hair is braided around to one side and then in a low bun. I also didn’t have my trusty spanx on so my hips lay different. No jewelry except my who knows where they came from gold hoops and my claddagh ring which was given to me by my friends family when I was a child, I didn’t want to get sunblock on anything or the unfortunate sunburn in the shape of… (I burned anyway). Seriously, I have no idea how I can take photos of other people but am totally not photogenic myself haha. I envy those of you with amazing fashion photos, tell me your secrets!Just a little shout out about…

I came across this brand which I actually featured in a recent post [here] and the day I was writing up that post Firmoo.com actually contacted be about doing giveaways which I thought was just absolutely perfect. I know how difficult it is to even think about paying for glasses especially when you’re glasses are as expensive as mine come out to be. (Hundreds of dollars) This is money I could be saving and Firmoo is a prime example of somewhere you can save those big bucks. Not only do they have regular glasses they have transitions, prescription sunglasses, computer glasses even just fashion glasses. Firmoo has affordable glasses that are 80%-90% less than local stores and they don’t lack on style either. The Classic series has both sunglasses and regular glasses you can choose from a variety of styles and the glasses start at just $8. For anyone who doesn’t…

For anyone who doesn’t know Julep maven is a subscription box for Julep nail polish costing $19.99 per box. (June Nantucket It Girl Box) So here’s how the process went down: I went to the site and finally found a box worth starting for so I put it in my cart. Upon ordering I had some issues with the site keeping my item in the shopping cart. Then I ordered all was well. I ordered an additional item, quick dry drops for the $4.99 price. I received my tracking information. The shipping was rather slow compared to what I’m use to but I didn’t wait weeks to get the product either so I don’t think I can complain much about that. It is shipping across the country. When I received my box there was only one item in the box, with one order and the rest of my order was…

A new series here at CrashBeauty will be “STYLED”. I practically never post photos of what I wear and I finally decided would, on occasion post some images. Clothing fashion is probably one thing I constantly am working toward improving because I use to always buy what fit and not what I enjoyed wearing. In the last few years I’ve gravitated towards buying clothes that not only fit me well but clothes that I enjoy wearing and quite frankly make me feel more like me. This is constantly a work in progress for me. But alas, I will share “Outfits Of The Day” with you on occasion. Please let me know if you think I should continue this series. Here’s what I’m wearing:Calvin Klein Green Dress from Marshall’s $10Lane Bryant Outlet Black Jacket bought at buy one get one free $45 for 2 Jackets (black, white)Fergalicious Shoes, Celeste Mary Jane Platform Pumps from Off Broadway…

Let’s be honest, in the last year or so I’ve become a little obsessive with scarves. To me scarves are a perfect accessory since many days I just wear jeans and a t-shirt. Now what’s the hardest possession for me to give up? My books, I have two book cases in my teeny, tiny room and I refuse to get rid of my books even though it would save me so much space. So what do I come across while searching on one of my favorite websites Etsy.com? A store that MAKES customized scarves of book quotes……. Oh yes I am in love. StoriArts is based out of Portland, Oregon and own the rights to be the only company who makes these types of innovative scarves for fellow book lovers. The items run anywhere from $26 – $45 depending on the type of item you are looking to get. Some…

Plus-sized Girls watch out, Torrid watch out! I found an amazing looking store Fashion to Figure(fashiontofigure.com) while walking through the Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey. This is a retain chain from New York down to Maryland. Specializing in styles from 12-26. If you love vintage styled clothing you will adore this store just as I did. I am a pretty simple girl I don’t like lots of fabrics and crazy colors and I feel like this place has a little bit for everyone and even professional clothes you can wear to work for a reasonable price. The great thing is you can even purchase off of their website so if you are not in the states where the retail stores are you are still able to get your hands on the goods! Here are a few of the items I want from the store: Have it all stretch dress…

Now don’t get me wrong I love inexpensive shoes. I don’t however enjoy cheaply made shoes. This is a problem I have with Payless. I spent most of my childhood wearing shoes from here, (mostly summer shoes) Payless use to be an affordable way to get somewhat nice shoes but without breaking the bank. Now however, I feel like the majority of their shoes haven’t changed in quality but they have upped the price of most of their shoes. It’s practically to the point that I can almost go out and find better made, or designer shoes at an outlet or discount store that are around the same price or in some cases cheaper than Payless. What has astonished me is the prices keep going up and yet the customers still keep rolling in. That being said on occasion you can find a nice deal and a nice pair of shoes in the same…
