Be careful not to bring it up to the crease as it might… crease later in the day and not look quite so appealing. Also don’t over apply. It has sadly been a while since I’ve posted a new makeup look, in fact I’m in a kind of makeup slump. I’ve just been so busy with life that I’ve stuck to the whole natural look with minimal switches. It’s time to get out of that slump.This look took me 5 minutes to do and when your crush on time (maybe between work and going out at night?) it’s important to have looks you can do quickly. Of course I could have done a thing or two to finish the look off more but alas my 5 minutes were up. I suggest doing a little smudging on the lower lash line to soften out the look. Keep showers short, lukewarm & pat dry skin Use less drying and more moisturize-rich soaps like Dove, Aveeno or more Eco-friendly versions. Apply moisturizer while skin is still damp. *I use Yes to carrots super rich body butter & the body shop’s Vitamin E intense moisturizing facial cream. I’ve also had great results with Udderly Smooth products as well. Exfoliate less and use a moisturizing face mask once or twice a week can help avoid flaky skin. Invest in wraps or gloves/socks to retain moisture in your hands and feet. I’ve also heard of people using moisturizer on their body and then placing plastic wrap on top for anywhere from 15-30 minutes though I have not personally tried this. Invest in a humidifier. I’m sure you remember the Nanshy Eye Set that I reviewed a little while back. These Buffer brushes are no exception and are just as fabulous as the eye set! I was sent these brushes for review and they are very comparable to both my Sigma Bunny and Real Techniques based on texture and softness. They are however, larger and denser than the Real Technique brush I own. First I just want to throw this out here. I am IN LOVE with these brushes. I think they are amazing. In this review I’m going to tell you why I’m raving about these brushes that were sent to me for review! Initially I was unimpressed by the packaging. It looked very cheap, not packaging you would expect $44 dollars’ worth of product to come in, but not all companies go crazy with the packaging. It is just relatively plain black packaging with a plastic insert to keep the brushes in their spot. I mean 90% of the time you are going to toss the packaging. I always enjoy a nice perfume and I’ll be honest, I am a geek and happy about it. So when I was contacted to try out the new Super Playboy fragrances I was pretty stoked. The fragrances are inspired by superheroes and alter egos. I am a sucker for all geek inspired series. Although superheroes are much more mainstream than they use to be. Between the two of these you may be covered for your eye makeup through all the seasons. Transition colors and a highlight would be the only addition I would suggest. These were purchased for me by my lovely boyfriend who knows my Disney obsession. I received two palettes and the nail polish set which will be shown in a different post. These sets are nice for beginners as well since you receive mascara, eye liners, primer and an eye shadow brush. Plus the six eye shadows and the lip gloss. AgelessDerma’s Satin Lip Gloss is a part of their mineral makeup line. This product is not tested on animals and is 4.77 Grams at a price of $15.00 US. The color I was sent to review was Ruby. This color is very buildable on its own and is fantastic over a nice universal classic red like NYX’s round lipstick in Snow White. Perfect addition when you are looking for a pretty red pout that helps make your lips fuller. First let’s talk about the product that Sibu Beauty sent me complimentary. The sea buckthorn nourishing facial cream overall did exactly as its name says. It nourished my skin and better than my beloved The Body Shop products. It was light, perfect for summer weather but here is the issue I found. On their website they advertise it as a day cream but it contains no SPF though the site says it protects against sun damage. Now on the actual packaging it says nothing about exclusive day usage but the item says daytime. I am a little put off because of this issue and the price being $20.95 US without SPF at 1 fl. oz.
