I’m sure you remember the Nanshy Eye Set that I reviewed a little while back. These Buffer brushes are no exception and are just as fabulous as the eye set! If you haven’t heard about the Eye set you should check that article out for a full review and some information about the company.

I was sent these brushes for review and they are very comparable to both my Sigma Bunny and Real Techniques based on texture and softness. They are however, larger and denser than the Real Technique brush I own. Some typical application uses are for Concealer, Foundation, Powder, Bronzer, Blush, Highlighter, Tinted Moisturizer, and Primer. I used these to apply my sisters Halloween makeup and it worked absolutely fantastic. These brushes have antibacterial synthetic bristles.  They are also 100% vegan and cruelty free. These brushes have a good weight, not too light not too heavy, perfect in my opinion.

Nanshy Round Buffer brush versus Real Technique foundation buffer

Black plain packaging for Nansh makeup brush, foundation buffer set.

I think the price for these is fantastic it comes to about $10 per brush and they are fabulous quality. Much better than what you’ll pay more for at a drugstore. You can purchase these bad boys via Amazon for $49.95. They come with plastic brush covers/shapers too so you can reuse them when you clean your brushes to hold the shape! The only downside is the packaging (as I’ve mentioned before), isn’t terribly enticing however I was told by Nanshy that they will be updating their packaging in the near future. Plus lets be honest, the brushes are what really matter. Not the package they come in.

Do you think you’ll give Nanshy a try? Why or why not?

PRODUCT : 10/10
TEXTURE : 10/10

Cruelty Free, Vegan product, Soft bristles, synthetic and hygienic. Able to be used with liquid and dry products. Great price, roughly $10.00 per brush. Comparable to Real Techniques quality. Packaging could be better and is literately the only reason they received a B versus an A. It might be nice to include some type of roll or container with the brushes to complete the set or provide two different sets one that includes a container and then just the basic set without.
