Photo and Art by The Nail Network First off I just want to say have you seen the amazing nail artwork by The Nail Network? There is Ariel nail art and OH MY GOODNESS I wish these were pre-made and readily available because I would so rock these lol. I love Disney and the Disney Princesses so of course when I hear Sephora was coming out with another set I was ecstatic. For a full list of the set details check out Beautezine’s fantastic site. The collection will be released online this month (June) but won’t be in actual Sephora stores until August. Stay tuned, I really hope I get my hands on something from this collection! I know if I can’t afford it in budget I’m at least buying that mirror. The palette would be my desired item and the perfume bottle is gorgeous! I love Ariel, lets be honest…

For my birthday I got the Lorac Pro Palette. Now there are quite a number of neutral eyeshadow palettes out there now and the one issue I always have with inspecting them is that they have too many shimmery, glittery etc. Type shadows. I wanted to see matte every day eye shadows and the Lorac Pro Palette is actually the perfect blend of both. I feel like many of the colors can be used with cooler or warmer shades to complete a look. This is definitely one palette that I could take on a trip and not need any other shades at all. Perfect transition shades, covers night time looks as well as day. It has a matte black which I always find important to top liner. Natural Look with Neutral Palette The consistency of the shadows is great but the texture is very strange to me as I am…

Thursday night I went to my second Philly FABB event which was hosted at Philadelphia’s very own Deneen Marcel Lashes on 4th& South St. The theme of the party was a “White Party” and my first white party ever! I mean as far back as I can remember anyway haha.  Every person in attendance looked absolutely ravishing! They served Wine and Champagne and had absolutely delicious… no really DELICIOUS treats and snacks cutesy of the lovely It’s a cupcake. (I’m addicted!) Most importantly for me they had cucumber water! It was so outrageously hot Thursday I almost fainted. Cucumber water to the rescue! Some other guests in attendance were Andre from Andre Richard Salon, and Jennifer of Simply Adeline’s beautiful clay jewelry. I’m very excited to say that the winner of the full set of lashes was the very first blogger from Philadelphia that I’ve met, the beautiful and…

Determining your face shape can be somewhat tricky since we all have different shapes and sizes but here are some things you can use or do to help you determine your shape: Use a large enough mirror so you can see your whole face.Put ALL of your hair back out of your faceTake a photo or better yet have someone else take it for you. Below are the detailed characteristics of each face shape: The reason we should know our face shape is because it helps us determine what shape our…

No, not literately the beginning (I wish haha) but this is the first printable I’ve made and offered on CrashBeauty.com. I’ve started working with creating printable items related to blogging. I’ve always been a planner type of girl, things go in my computer calendar or gets written in my physical planner. I have more office supplies then I would probably ever need to use and when I see a staples I get way too excited for my own good. But that is neither here nor there. I felt it was time to create a custom planner specifically for my blog so that I can keep track of the progress and keep my thoughts and ideas together in one place, not scattered across a number of books as they are now. This was my very first try and I’m giving you guys the sheet. You can print these out on a regular printer and punch holes in them.…

West Elm is an amazingly awesome store. It’s gorgeous inside and out. Recently I attended the Grand Opening of the King of Prussia West Elm store located in the court and believe me when I tell you I wish I could buy everything in the store. The art promotion for the grand opening was done by a local artist Jim Digiovanni and was the first. Every West Elm store opening in the future will feature artwork of a local artist. My first impression of the store was awe. I love the natural feel to it even though there is industrial work clearly all around and it is very modern. It feels like home now that I think of it. Which I suspect is right on the money since they want you mix match and play with all of the items in the store! Here is some information from West Elm’s…

A new series here at CrashBeauty will be “STYLED”. I practically never post photos of what I wear and I finally decided would, on occasion post some images. Clothing fashion is probably one thing I constantly am working toward improving because I use to always buy what fit and not what I enjoyed wearing. In the last few years I’ve gravitated towards buying clothes that not only fit me well but clothes that I enjoy wearing and quite frankly make me feel more like me. This is constantly a work in progress for me. But alas, I will share “Outfits Of The Day” with you on occasion. Please let me know if you think I should continue this series. Here’s what I’m wearing:Calvin Klein Green Dress from Marshall’s $10Lane Bryant Outlet Black Jacket bought at buy one get one free $45 for 2 Jackets (black, white)Fergalicious Shoes, Celeste Mary Jane Platform Pumps from Off Broadway…

A week or two ago I received this Ivory 2IN1 Hair and body wash in the mail from Influenster.com. Now I’m always skeptical of 2IN1’s but overall Ivory performed higher than I expected. I would like to make one point Ivory claims to be a 2 in 1 meaning both hair and body. It also however, makes a claim that it is conditioning for the hair as well which I completely disagree. My hair is drier after using it than would be the case with just using a shampoo. This I expect with 2 in 1’s and this is exactly what I expected from Ivory. However, because there IS conditioner in the bottle it conditioned my skin which is in general pretty dry. So that was a win in my book. I also like that there isn’t much of a smell and it sort of reminds me of the smell of some…
