**PICTURE HEAVY POST** So I’ve probably had this stuff for about a month, using it constantly. I can give a few mini reviews. If anyone wants a more in depth review on something please let me know. I purchased a few things however almost everything was from their Sale section. I really wanted to try as many things as possible on as little as possible. The only thing that was regularly priced was the eye shadow primer since I have been running out of mine from Coastal Scents I figured I would try this one. Even though its like $10 more expensive *dies* I wanted to see what the hype was. At the time I purchased they had the 3 samples if the price is over a certain amount so I got the cheek tint in quickie, mascara and All Nighter spray. I purchased the eye shadow primer in Eden. The…
Mostly I used Urban Decay products. I wore this on a day out with my friend, The shirt I had on had a bird on it which was the reason I did the extreme wing 🙂 You don’t have to go quite as crazy as I did, but I like to try new things! Well firstly, this review is for people with Dry skin or who may get Dry skin in the colder months as this product can be too much for any other skin types. This is one of my very first purchases from The Body Shop, and the reason why I keep going back. A little back story, for years I suffered from overly dry flaky skin, most noticeably on my face. I always hated facial moisturizers because I would have to put them on a number of times for it even to moisturize my skin. With this product I only have to apply it once (usually right after my shower) soaks right into my skin leaving it feeling baby soft. I have been using this product since late January early February and just last week went and repurchased (even though i’m STILL not finished the last container, but just about) I am totally a believer…
So lets call this try two with the holographic nail polish by HITS called Artemis. First off, still totally obsessed. (I used this last time over 3 weeks ago, my posts are a tad bit out of order.) Can’t wait to get a few colored holos. Old trend, new trend, I so don’t care this is like a party on my nails. The pearly pink is Sally Hansen’s Insta-dri in Mauve It which I purchased last year. Topped with Milani’s nail treatment top coat. The downside to today’s nails, I was hoping to have my nail stuff from ebay already. so unfortunately, no nail art. 🙁 But Nail art and stamping coming soon AND we get to see this lovely happiness on my nails since yet again, today is a dreary foggy day here these nails lift my spirits even if they look pastel! I have my scholarship interview today, totally super…
So I was super duper excited yesterday becauseeeee I received the giveaway prize in the mail that I won 🙂 Miss B of fabugloss.blogspot.com was kind enough to host a giveaway for MAC lipsticks. (Her current giveaway: here)The two I received in the mail were Viva Glam V & Ravishing. Going to be honest, I kinda see the hype. I loveeeeee the Viva Glam lipstick and Ravishing totally brightened up my face I almost looked like I was glowing! I’ve never owned a MAC lipstick, to be quite honest I only own one other MAC product which is an eyeshadow in sketch. But I haven’t had a bad product yet (3/3) lol. WAHOO. I use to think MAC was overly expensive and while it is somewhat for budget buyers like myself, its much LESS expensive compared to many high end brands. So lets say it again… WAHOO! lol Here are a few photos I took yesterday afternoon: —————————–…
So I got the latest Lush times in the mail the other day and finally got around to reading it today. As I’m flipping through (p. 42-43 for anyone who gets the paper) I read about these bars, and at first I just scanned the page the bottom of the first page caught my eye because the color of the characters hair was different. I was like WAIT A MINUTE lol… So basically what these bars are, are temporary hair color treatments that are non-damaging. Considering I never dye my hair (short of that one time in high school where i attempted to have my bangs dyed….electric blue. No judgement lol) I had never heard this before and my mother always uses those box dye jobs when she does her hair. So I’d totally give this a try if I didn’t love my hair color but I think it’s fun…
Going to be entirely honest, I do NOT know what I was doing when I took the swatches of this color and I sadly did not do it justice. I will however be using this color again in some nail art that I’ll do so hopefully it will do it better justice. On all of my nails I wore Hit’s Artemis which is a silver holographic nail polish and super adorable. It looks A-freaking-mazing in the day light. I had a number of people either tell me they liked it or stared at it when I had this color on. I am eager to put it on again but since I force myself to wear a polish for about a week (helps me see how long it will last) I haven’t quite been able to make it back to this polish yet. HOPEFULLY it will be sooner then later. I think Holographic…
So on Friday I wore this look to Philly’s Toss your cap event which included many colleges and universities in the area and a small select group from each school to represent the school and “Toss your cap” with the Mayor. But Beyond that I had taken a photo of my makeup the first time I did it which was Thursday to see if I would wear it the following day. The image to the left is the Thursday makeup, (I think Friday looked a little better the blue was smaller and more vivid) But since I haven’t posted a Face of the Day in a while I decided I would post this one. I have been reading many of the suggestions people have made on the contest and will be incorporating some of those into my blog. 🙂 Primarily what I used for this look was a lot of Urban Decay…
So I ordered this polish off Etsy.com because they seem to have some pretty cool independent nail polish sellers and this quite honestly was the cheapest to try out at $4.00 for the mini bottle. Just as the description on the website says a very opaque golden yellow with fine black glitter that dries to a somewhat bumpy finish. I thought the name was equally as cute and I wore this for my Graduation. The only thing I’d say is I wish the black was just a tad bit bigger and noticeable because I can barely notice it at all on my nails. But the color is still adorable. I applied two coats of Paint Box Polish in Hufflepuff and one coat of Milani top coat.
So this month is more of odds and ends I think. First love is the Clean & Clear advantage acne spot treatment, I’ve been having some small break outs on my cheek for some reason but this gets rid of them fairly quickly I’ve had it for a while though, the thought of wasting almost an entire tube is terrible if I chuck it. Next is Trident Layers gum, I still prefer the mint one but this one smells so amazing even just in my bag lol. E.L.F. super glossy lip shine in watermelon which looks great on its own but I sometimes pair it with my NYX lipstick in FIG. Two polishes that I’ve been loving are China Glaze’s Dress Me Up and Hits’Artemis which is a holographic nail polish. Next piece is actually my pocket mirror which has LED lights around the mirror. (shopglitzyglam.com) Purchased probably back in…
