This is my second official STYLED post. (The Eshakti one didn’t count if you have been following along.) I’m not big, crazy into fashion, not that I don’t love certain things or that I don’t keep up with the fashion news but simply because I can’t afford it at the present time. Slowly but surely I’m trying to add pieces to my wardrobe that can work for me. Layering is my best friend allows me to wear the same pieces in multiple seasons styled different ways. I do feel like there are slim pickin’s for full figured women and STYLED is my journey to discover how to flaunt what we’ve got. This time around I’m wearing my trusty black jacket (literately the only jacket I own, I’m working on getting more) because it was chilly in South Jersey when night was falling. I’m wearing typical jeans and comfy shoes though…

It’s September again and with that means the weather (here on the east coast) is going to get colder soon. But regardless every woman needs a little black dress and I’ve found in my search over the years that finding a little black dress that compliments a curvy girl can sometimes be hard. Here are five fall fashion finds for the plus-sized girl, in that little black dresses that will make you swoon and won’t break the bank. $47.25 at ASOS $40.00 at Fashion to Figure $34.00 at Fashion to Figure $29.53 at ASOS $24.80 at Forever21 I picked dresses that would work for different body shapes. Personally I wouldn’t wear the faux leather dress but leather is big right now and edgy. My favorites are the lace dresses. Where did you find your perfect little black dress?

Hey my fantastic and amazing readers, I have a new Etsy seller for you to check out! I’ve finally implemented the galaxy trend into my wardrobe with these fantastic earrings by Bloomy Jewelry. I’m pretty low key when it comes to clothes, I go for timeless, vintage or somewhat edgy but the galaxy tights and dresses are a bit too much for me to handle. So if you’re like me, these little bad boys get the gorgeous galaxy trend across but in a more subtle way. They are post backs so I would treat them just as any costume jewelry, don’t shower with them. The packaging was adorable for this tiny little box and I love when etsy sellers put thank you notes. I always prefer purchasing from an Etsy seller if I can because you get a more personable experience and generally fantastic customer service. Shipping was from Europe…

Credit: Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images North America Time for another totally random life event update! While I’m not generally one to swoon over actors or musicians there is one person who I actually have liked since I was quite young and that person is Jesse McCartney. I originally saw him on All My Children (My grandmother watched it religiously) and then when he started in DreamStreet. DreamStreet was my only boy-band craze experience I never really cared much about celebrity status. I’m generally pretty low key at concerts, though I enjoy going. Whenever I meet a celebrity I just say hi, ask a question or some other mundane assertion. Though I enjoy going with my little sister because she always says something that makes me giggle. (We have a picture of her on Adam Levine’s Lap, whom my step-mother swoons over… I’m sensing a little jealously haha). My sister Jaclyn loves…

If you’re in or around Philadelphia and looking for thrifted clothes or furniture you might not find a bigger selection than at Impact Thrift Store in Trevose, PA. The store is located right outside of Northeast Philadelphia and has 48,000 sq. ft. of retail space. Need I say more? They even have such a huge section of books that they have tables you can sit down and read at (My little sister loves it). You can find so much there and they have an amazing selection of jewelry, electronics, clothes, books and so much more. (No seriously SO MUCH haha). I just found out they actually have four separate locations in Pennsylvania. Hatboro Feasterville/Trevose Montgomeryville Norristown I can only speak for the Feasterville store but my family actually takes a trip there once a month to check their stuff out. They also have auction items that my mother occasionally bids on.…

This is the start of my 4 part mini-series of influenster product reviews. #SunVoxBox if you want to chat on twitter about it! This item has been sent to me for review. The purpose of these ribbon elastics is to not only be functional for hair but to also look stylish on your wrist which is where most women wear their elastics why they take their hair down or plan to put their hair up later. I can absolutely say these works for my hair. I have curly hair and it holds my pony tail and buns in perfectly. It practically doesn’t even feel like there is something in your hair holding it up which is a huge plus. Wear on the item is about the same as regular elastic. I think the ribbon aspect is cute especially for young girls who want to feel fashionable. The downside in…
