The purpose of these ribbon elastics is to not only be functional for hair but to also look stylish on your wrist which is where most women wear their elastics why they take their hair down or plan to put their hair up later.
I can absolutely say these works for my hair. I have curly hair and it holds my pony tail and buns in perfectly. It practically doesn’t even feel like there is something in your hair holding it up which is a huge plus. Wear on the item is about the same as regular elastic. I think the ribbon aspect is cute especially for young girls who want to feel fashionable.
The downside in my opinion to having more fashionable hair you only get 5 ribbons per pack at $3.99 – $4.99 so I don’t think I would be making a permanent switch anytime soon. I usually buy 20 elastics or more at a time so realistically this price wouldn’t work for me to make a complete switch. However, I do think that this is a nice accessory for outings, ribbon elastics is absolutely the better choice for your wrist.
FINAL COMMENTS
All in all it’s a cute product. It’s effective. But if they want this to be a staple product the price should be lower or they should offer more per package.
