Using coastal scents smokey palette

So this is my first Face of the Day please let me know if you think I should continue these or not! This is a day of many firsts, I actually took this picture yesterday and it was the first time I ever tried false eye lashes, I have a few different types but I finally took the plunge, not sure if dramatic lashes are easier to apply or not but that’s what I decided to use. My mother told me I should wear them today so I wore them again lol I had some lady staring at me thinking my lashes were really that long HAHA, it made me laugh because my lashes are red and you can barely see them normally so for someone to think I’d have such lovely lashes was beyond me. What’s in my makeup bag 2012

While I know this is quite similar to my Travel bag because lets face it, I only carry about 2 products in my purse on regular. (Lipstick/Gloss and eye liner) we’ll call this an updated one. I decided I would do the Blog Hop via BlogLoveTherapy. You should check out the hop. 😉 Anyway in general I am a over-packer and this stuff is just for one night. (Imagine if I was gone for a week!) The bag it’s self is from IKEA (UPPTÄCKA Toiletries bag) costs just around $6.00. It comes in 5 colors, I just so happened to like the off-white color the best. (I’ve been on a cream/white-ish kick for going on a year!) I love this bag because the mouth of the bag opens so wide it is so easy to find what i’m looking for in the bag. Spring time easter egg nail of the day

I decided I’d redo my nails since they were chipping away and breaking sadly. I can always tell when I’ve had an overworked week when my nails are mostly broken by the end of it! SAD FACE Anywho I decided to use my Revlon nail polish in whimsical. I also used Sally Hansen’s hard as nails xtreme wear in white on under Whimsical. On both of my ring fingers I used China Glaze’s Dress Me Up. Two coats of everything! Whimsical gives the white on color a more softer look and it looks delicate and lovely. I picked it for Easter because I had someone tell me last month or so at school that it reminded them of Easter eggs. lol Adorable!!!! Penn Academy Dance Recital 2012

My sister had her Recital this weekend that just past. I decided today I should post some photos I took because it was too adorable. I really hope she decides to continue with it, I actually enjoyed it more then I thought I would have. They went from youngest to oldest and the younger children had two of the older children (or teenagers depending on their group) stand off to either side to do the dance with them in case they forgot their steps. Which face it, the 3 and 4 year old kids are not going to remember everything lol. My sister is 4 so she was one of the first acts up. Her first one was “I Have Learned A Ballet Dance”. (She’s the tiny one in the middle) All of the students had adorable costumes. They even had one performance that the older girls had glow in the dark lights on…

makeupmania La femme first look

I ordered from makeupmania.com recently and I feel like not even two days later this stuff was at my door. CRAZY fast shipping. Which also makes me excited with the website because I am totally up for doing business with them again. (Plus they carry a lot of Ben Nye stuff YES PLEASE!) I only ordered two shadows and a blush to see how they are as well as a cake eyeliner. The blusher is seriously pigmented! The pressed eyeshadow in just the pan is $2.50. Likewise with the pan only for the Blush. I suppose they are the same size because they are in the same size pan. Which makes sense. Though I’ve never had such a small pan for blush. I really like the feel of them but so far I’ve only used the color Bisque. It applies oddly on my lid, splotchy or something. I haven’t heard…

EBAY inexpensive pocket watches

So I finally got all of my pocket watch necklaces in the mail. I ordered three of them from three different sellers via ebay.com. What prompted me to check ebay was modcloth.com. I adore modcloth. Almost everything they sell. However, most of their stuff that I like is out of budget for me or better yet, out of my comfort zone. The pocket watch they sell which looks similar to the one that I got goes for $27.00 not including shipping. I bought a very similar one if not the same for $5.35 with free shipping. The seller for the silver vintage looking pocket watch is warmest999 of ebay.com. This was also the quickest shipping. Neutral Pop with China Glaze’s Hunger games collection

Weekly Nail: China Glaze’s Fast Track and riveting. Probably a more neutral look for me. Which isn’t often at least with my nails. I love the orange (riveting) however, I thought it would be too bright atm so I toned it down with the neutral color but it has some gold in it. My nails are so short I had to cut them I was having trouble typing lol. I am probably going to be stuck on these hunger games colors by china glaze for a while because there are so many ways to wear all 12. More videos and blog entries coming soon. Filmed today 🙂

Now I’m more of a neutral’s girl when it comes to my purses I don’t go all crazy and I want something that will go with most of what I have. Here are a few that caught my eye on charmingcharlie.com. Fortune Cookie Soap The Hunger Games collection

So I got my products from Fortune Cookie Soap this morning. Their shipping is ridiculously fast anymore. They notified me that it had been shipped on Friday. It’s coming from Oklahoma to Philadelphia, PA. I’ve had longer shipping coming from my own city, not joking lol. The three items I purchased were Hunter Green Body Butter, Baker’s Dozen fortune cookie soap, and Yellow Polka Dot Bikini voted best! (by us) lotion. The Lotion smells just like the bath fizzy that I had, yum! 😀 The Hunter Green Body Butter had a very natural, earthy, forest smell to it but it reminds me of going to the lake with my family to visit my grandfather. It’s amazing how many of these scents trigger memories. They do such a great job of that. The consistency is similar to other body butters there is no difference there. Baker’s Dozen may have won my heart over the Yellow…

China Glaze Hunger games polish

Oh yeah so, considering my day tomorrow consists of Driving lessons at 8:00AM (SUPER NERVOUS) and a series of meetings and a overall hectic day at work so I will not see The Hunger Games movie until tomorrow night. But that doesn’t mean I can’t start getting ready now. So I couldn’t exactly decide on a color to paint my nails, I wound up picking three spring time colors (Luxe and Lush, Dress me up, and Fast Track) and pairing it with a dark color (Smoke and ashes). I might look crazy but no one can say I’m not excited for the movie! lol I used four polishes from China Glaze from the Hunger Games collection.
