A Happy, Halloween visit to Linvilla Orchards featuring OOTD

Linvilla Orchards is one of my favorite places to visit in the fall. If you are in the tri-state area I highly recommend a visit if you are a fall loving person. This year they also had a much larger selection for terrarium set ups which is a hot DIY currently, and a personal favorite of mine! The terrarium set ups, planters and plants are, for the most part cheaper than getting them from your local shop, Lowes or home depot in the city. (If you’ve found a cheaper place please let me know!) We normally go during the week when no one is there, this time we went on the weekend and it was by far the busiest I’ve ever seen it (Could those ads on I95 have something to do with it? Maybe.) Bath and Body Works 2013 Autumn Pumpkin Candle Scents

I am absolutely one of those Pumpkin obsessed crazies running around the streets in Autumn. I literately hoard pumpkin Muffin mix at the end of the season so I have it all year round. Needless to say I was extremely excited when I saw the new “pumpkin line” as I’ve been calling it, at Bath andBody works. (A little tip if you live in or near Philadelphia check out the Bath and Body Outlet at Franklin Mills mall for even bigger savings.) I actually purchased these in New Jersey on the outskirts of New York when we were visiting the boyfriend’s sister for her birthday. But these are sold in pretty much all of the stores I’ve seen since then. Fashion Show Curvy Closets Full Figured Charity 2013

Earlier this month I had the pleasure to attend the curvy closets fashion show in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. The fashion show showcased absolutely stunning clothing for every size and as I missed this year’s Full Figured Fashion week I was excited to still check out some fall fashion and to see the debut of Allison McGevna’s new line TwentyFour20. Some of the designers included BellaNOR boutique, Kiyonna, Elocin, and Sean Anthony Designs. Below are my top favorite styles from the night. First I just want to throw this out here. I am IN LOVE with these brushes. I think they are amazing. In this review I’m going to tell you why I’m raving about these brushes that were sent to me for review! Initially I was unimpressed by the packaging. It looked very cheap, not packaging you would expect $44 dollars’ worth of product to come in, but not all companies go crazy with the packaging. It is just relatively plain black packaging with a plastic insert to keep the brushes in their spot. I mean 90% of the time you are going to toss the packaging. However, 80% of the time when I’m in stores, I will choose a product at the same price range over another based on its visual appeal, a little food for thought. I always enjoy a nice perfume and I’ll be honest, I am a geek and happy about it. So when I was contacted to try out the new Super Playboy fragrances I was pretty stoked. An Interview with Etsy Seller Pioneer Vintage Co.

Our first interview is with the lovely creators and finders of vintage treasures at {Pioneer Vintage Co.} a phenomenal local etsy seller. 1. How did you come up with your shop name? The name is based on Michele’s favorite poem, “Pioneers, O’ Pioneers” by Walt Whitman. 2. What inspires you when creating or choosing an item for your shop? We are inspired by the idea of bringing new life to past trends. We’re able to do this by finding vintage treasures and also by putting our own spin on our favorite past trends with our handmade items. This year will be my first year in attendance at the Curvy Closets event and I am pretty excited about it. I scored a gorgeous black lace dress on sale at ASOS Curvy.
