A week or so ago my boyfriend and I visited the Philadelphia Morris Arboretum. Yes you heard me right this little gem of 175 acres resides just within the Philadelphia boundaries. If you love Longwood Garden but feel it’s a bit of a travel the Morris Arboretum will give you some of that vibe. It is an oasis within the city life for sure and its located right near Chestnut Hill College on Germantown Pike. Until a few years ago I did not even know this place existed. But since I’ve found this place I’ve gone a few times during some of our nicest weather. This fall you can experience the change of the flowers and trees as well as check out the Scarecrow section that local children and groups made. You can even vote for your favorite! Be sure to check their calendar because they often have events going…

AgelessDerma’s Satin Lip Gloss is a part of their mineral makeup line. This product is not tested on animals and is 4.77 Grams at a price of $15.00 US. The color I was sent to review was Ruby. This color is very buildable on its own and is fantastic over a nice universal classic red like NYX’s round lipstick in Snow White. Perfect addition when you are looking for a pretty red pout that helps make your lips fuller. Their pamphlet states “Ageless Derma Mineral Makeup uses only the finest pharmaceutical grade ingredients, with potent antioxidants and 100% pure minerals, to create an all in one makeup range that looks and feels great.” It also states that they are paraben free, includes vitamin A, E and Green Tea to prevent wrinkles. It uses all natural ingredients, protects from UV Rays and helps the healing process. Mineral makeup is a great…

This is my second official STYLED post. (The Eshakti one didn’t count if you have been following along.) I’m not big, crazy into fashion, not that I don’t love certain things or that I don’t keep up with the fashion news but simply because I can’t afford it at the present time. Slowly but surely I’m trying to add pieces to my wardrobe that can work for me. Layering is my best friend allows me to wear the same pieces in multiple seasons styled different ways. I do feel like there are slim pickin’s for full figured women and STYLED is my journey to discover how to flaunt what we’ve got. This time around I’m wearing my trusty black jacket (literately the only jacket I own, I’m working on getting more) because it was chilly in South Jersey when night was falling. I’m wearing typical jeans and comfy shoes though…

I would just like to say that the snow leopards in this area have been popping out babies left and right. (There are also cubs at the Philadelphia Zoo.) I visited the Cape May Zoo last year but it was an hour before closing so we zipped through it. This time I got to look at everything (Except the otters weren’t out *Super Sad Face*). Here are some photos from the day! When was the last time you visited a zoo?

It’s September again and with that means the weather (here on the east coast) is going to get colder soon. But regardless every woman needs a little black dress and I’ve found in my search over the years that finding a little black dress that compliments a curvy girl can sometimes be hard. Here are five fall fashion finds for the plus-sized girl, in that little black dresses that will make you swoon and won’t break the bank. $47.25 at ASOS $40.00 at Fashion to Figure $34.00 at Fashion to Figure $29.53 at ASOS $24.80 at Forever21 I picked dresses that would work for different body shapes. Personally I wouldn’t wear the faux leather dress but leather is big right now and edgy. My favorites are the lace dresses. Where did you find your perfect little black dress?

First let’s talk about the product that Sibu Beauty sent me complimentary. The sea buckthorn nourishing facial cream overall did exactly as its name says. It nourished my skin and better than my beloved The Body Shop products. It was light, perfect for summer weather but here is the issue I found. On their website they advertise it as a day cream but it contains no SPF though the site says it protects against sun damage. Now on the actual packaging it says nothing about exclusive day usage but the item says daytime. I am a little put off because of this issue and the price being $20.95 US without SPF at 1 fl. oz. (I’ve since noticed it is no longer listed as a day cream however, it is still listed as such in the pamphlet.) The packaging is lovely, I love the frosted look and the smell of…

Hey my fantastic and amazing readers, I have a new Etsy seller for you to check out! I’ve finally implemented the galaxy trend into my wardrobe with these fantastic earrings by Bloomy Jewelry. I’m pretty low key when it comes to clothes, I go for timeless, vintage or somewhat edgy but the galaxy tights and dresses are a bit too much for me to handle. So if you’re like me, these little bad boys get the gorgeous galaxy trend across but in a more subtle way. They are post backs so I would treat them just as any costume jewelry, don’t shower with them. The packaging was adorable for this tiny little box and I love when etsy sellers put thank you notes. I always prefer purchasing from an Etsy seller if I can because you get a more personable experience and generally fantastic customer service. Shipping was from Europe…
