Earlier this month I had the pleasure to attend the curvy closets fashion show in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. The fashion show showcased absolutely stunning clothing for every size and as I missed this year’s Full Figured Fashion week I was excited to still check out some fall fashion and to see the debut of Allison McGevna’s new line TwentyFour20. Some of the designers included BellaNOR boutique, Kiyonna, Elocin, and Sean Anthony Designs. Below are my top favorite styles from the night. I am pretty excited about the new TwentyFour20 line, see it below!
There were a ton of clothes modeled and I may add more to my flickr account because there were many more outfits that were not my style but still amazingly cool. If I do that link will be at the bottom of the post.
One of the vendors along the walls of the fashion show.
What I wore to the event. (My “on a ramen noodle budget” outfit!) I also had my coat from Fashion to Figure, it was super windy out. I had 20’s inspired heels on but they didn’t last to the building haha.
That purple belt just made the dress pop even more. One of my favorites of the night.
Absolutely stunning off the shoulder dress. Perfectly complimenting curves. I wish I owned this.
This dress… needs to be in my life. For serious. I don’t know how I’m going to afford it, but it will happen!
The charming MC of the night Allison McGevna. She had us cracking up. Great personality!
Allison McGevna’s Debut line TwentyFour20! I’m loving the flower dress.
Some of the proceeds went to Hairless for Her awareness. You can view the list of models at the Curvy Closets site. I’ve only ever attended one fashion event and it was at a college. This was a fantastic experience and I only hope next year will be even bigger and better!
